UNISON OF ANTITHETICAL

Antithetical: directly opposed or contrasted; mutually incompatible.

I'm cold as ice, you are hot as fire,

My body was cold as snowflakes

That you melted with your glare.

My veins burnt with your touch,

My heart boiled with the potions of your love.

That glint in your eyes shivered my spine,

My legs started trembling to see that mischievous smile of thine.

Ice couldn't quench my thirst,

Nor cud the fire did yours.

But the day we met,

Your hotness thawed my ice,

My chill cooled your fire.

We filled each other with

The Elixir of Love.

The mountains bowed,

The wind trumpeted,

The Universe stood in awe,

At the sight of our unison.

Well, the cycle of rebellion comes accompanied by retaliation and realization, which can be traced back to the creation of the universe as we know it. Since the upbringing of a child, they are taught a deeper sense of what’s right or wrong so they won’t get trapped in guilt and vilification of their deeds, but the laws of nature aren’t so simple, I guess. The one above all had something different planned for us as the boon of will was bestowed upon us, but some things are better understood the hard way.
